Christian Connection was established in October 2000, and since its launch has had over 300 successful marriages, and hundreds more meaningful new relationships! Christian Connection is a UK- and Ireland-based site, which is great if you live in the UK, especially as many of the other Christian dating websites have a majority of USA-based members.

The site is attractive and easy to navigate, and the free 5 day trial means you can enjoy full access to almost all the full features of Christian Connection, getting a real feel for it before you decide that you want to sign up for a longer membership. However, as a trial member you cannot initiate contact with another member via the instant messenger, although you can reply to them if they initiate contact with you. This seems to be the only limitation on the trial membership.

The multiple ways of searching for other members means you have greater flexibility in how to find your perfect partner. One drawback, however, could be that you can't do an advanced search manually - with the "Compatibility Match" the computer finds matching profiles for you. By contrast, some other sites give you the option of filling in some of the information that would be important to you in a potential partner, and leaving less important fields blank. There isn't a very extensive list of denominations, either, but there are a lot of "Essay" questions which ask about faith and what it means to you, so it is easy to find out about other members' religious beliefs.

Christian Connection has no live chat room, which most of its competitors do, but the community feel in the widely-used message boards makes up for that, and you can still contact other members via instant messenger or mail.
