Although this might seem a drag, it's actually because all profiles are screened in person by Single Christian Network staff, which is very unusual for a dating website - and it ensures that all members signing up are genuine, committed Christians. And surely it's worth waiting a couple of hours in return for a sense of security in all members' integrity! The free trial is also fairly unusual, with very few of its competitors offering non-paying members to experience all the features of the site before they part with any money. It's a good way to get a really good feel for the site before you commit to buying a subscription. The monthly cost of a subscription is a bit pricey, but the savings on the 3 and 6 month subscriptions work out to be no more expensive than the rates of Single Christian Network's competitors, and the "Marriage Guaranteed" membership option is unique!
