Very interesting! Found my girlfriend of a year now on Christian Mingle. Worked out great! However, we were talking last night about how she can't get into AOL email, has been getting lot's of 'junk' even from Christian Mingle. I went on to fix the issue. An email dated a month ago basically stated "welcome, our review team read your profile and you're good to go!" As you can imagine, my heart started racing! Did some more digging and was certain she had created this profile, hence me ending our relationship! Long story short, she says she did not create it! However, she opened a few "smiles" up out of curiosity. She swears she did not create a profile although it definitely described her. I contacted CM and they feel it was a hacker. One indication was it had her age right, but not date of birth. Because I logged in, it changed the IP address so I was unable to find out where the account was created. CM said this happens and why it happens. There were a couple other reasons I think it was a hack-job is because the '90' people she clicked the "maybe" tab on, were totally not her type and nowhere near her area. I'm guessing a hacker wants one of the "maybe" people to click like, getting the ball rolling to get data, etc. One big question I had was how did they so accurate on her info. CM said they probably got old info of initial CM account, that had been closed for a year. Made sense, but I'm missing the piece of the puzzle to make the case...IP address the profile was created under. This would solve all my insecurities...
In summary, I would recommend Christian Mingle to a friend.
