Very interesting! Found my girlfriend of a year now on Christian Mingle. Worked out great! However, we were talking last night about how she can't get into AOL email, has been getting lot's of 'junk' even from Christian Mingle. I went on to fix the issue. An email dated a month ago basically stated "welcome, our review team read your profile and you're good to go!" As you can imagine, my heart started racing! Did some more digging and was certain she had created this profile, hence me ending our relationship! Long story short, she says she did not create it! However, she opened a few "smiles" up out of curiosity. She swears she did not create a profile although it definitely described her. I contacted CM and they feel it was a hacker. One indication was it had her age right, but not date of birth. Because I logged in, it changed the IP address so I was unable to find out where the account was created. I thought that I would never meet anyone compatible to enter the second half of my life with. I had tried other dating sites with no decent results. I saw this fellow during one of my visits to Christian Mingle named Billy Coward. I read his profile and sent him a message that said, "I just want to say hello." He replied back and the more we chatted showed that we had many things in common. We went from texting to phone talk to meeting in person to spending much time together at his place and mine. He is an awesome gentleman who loves me and I love him. It has been about 6 months now and he has bought me an engagement ring. We are very happy together. We make each other happy and share many smiles. Thank you Christian Mingle. We both were about to think that there was no love to be found. (:

I have done online dating on many dating sites and had a lot of bad experiences with some bad guys. I had no real luck, so I gave up the online dating thing after the last guy I dated which was for 5 and 1/2 months turned out to be a real loser too. I told myself I wouldn't do it anymore and I stuck to it for a few months. I saw advertisements for Christian mingle all the time and was interested in trying since I am a very faithful person and I wanted to find someone descent, faithful, honest and so I signed up. I was weary about paying again for a dating site, but I figured I'd do it for a month. I got a few messages from different men, but no one stuck out to me. One day I got a message from an older gentleman, and I was still cautious about answering the e-mail, it took me a couple weeks to answer him back. I know what everyone is thinking, "this cant be for real"? I thought the same way until i met my love. I actually joined the site to check out a man that my best friend was head-over-heels for. I found out the guy she was interested in was pervert but while i was deleting email messages i stumbled upon a message from my now fiance. To sum things up, it was certainly a pleasant surprise. Don't judge a book by it's cover and don't knock it until you try it. ;)

I just want to tell you that I found my wife on Christian Mingle. We are both are in out late 50's and been both married before. We seemed to fell in love while chatting on the site.

When I met her, I thought I knew her for a long time. We first started chatting mid November and was married this past Easter.

I praise the Lord for having her in my life. I really didn't like the parade of the ladies and say Yes, NO or Maybe. I really wanted to know more about their Christian walk and character and not just their looks.

I am sorry to hear some had an issue in logging on I too experienced that issue. I was using the email notice of activity on your account link to log on to the inbox then all of a sudden it wouldn't work. So I logged on directly in my address bar and there was no problem.

I didn't find the site easy to navigate but then I have no experience on this type of site.

I was asked out to dinner the very first day I opened the account, from one of the perspective choices that had caught my eye. I have had wonderful conversations with many people and found each person had a strong relationship with the Lord. So I would recomend this site to anyone.

I do find that little carrot they dangle "free" to be offensive because it is not free. Free to look yes but not free to actually communicate. That is the way the world tricks people into doing business and shouldn't in my opinion be used by someone claiming to be Christian.
