With plenty of active message boards and an in depth search facility, this site has plenty to offer its thousands of members. There are only two membership packages to choose from, keeping things pretty simple: free membership, and paid membership. 

Free members are able to build a profile, perform searches and read the message boards. This gives them a decent opportunity to find out what the site has to offer its paying members. If you’re interested in finding people who are involved in Missions, you can also include this in your search. As such, the site really does cater for LDS members by providing features which are specifically designed for their faith.

Once your search has been completed, you can take a look at members’ profiles and pictures. Members can upload multiple photos to show off their best sides, as well as including information about what they’re looking for and how important their faith is to them.

There are several message board to explore, although only one was about “faith”. But don’t panic, in each of the message boards are a range of sub categories (as many as 500) so each one is broken down into constituent parts. Subsequently, there ought to be plenty to talk about, and this offers a great way to get to know people based on what they think and believe.

Members can communicate in several ways. Aside from the message boards, you can contact members directly using email or instant chat. If you’re a little shy but want to show someone you like the look of them, you can also send a flirt. 

Another stand out feature of LDSsingles.com is its dashboard. This allows you to simply and quickly find out which members are online, who’s been looking at your profile and more. Each member receives a COMPASS report which helps to match you with others using the site. You can then check out their profile and decide whether or not you’d like to get in touch. Events are primarily in the US, but there’s nothing to stop you from taking an active role in organizing something and inviting members. 

Membership is relatively cheap, although there are other LDS dating sites which are cheaper, or even free. It’s worth taking a look at them all and deciding which one will fulfil your needs. Paying members gain access to all the site’s features, allowing them to make contact, as well as receive messages. This is pretty much essential if you actually want to engage with a member with the hope of meeting them.

Though primarily based in the US, there are several events which you can read about, and potentially attend. It’s worth checking this section out to find out whether or not there are events in your area. If you discover there’s nothing near you, you could always organize one for others to attend.

The COMPASS matching service identifies members who might be suited to you. It does this by analysing the information you provide in your profile, as well as any questions you answer in the online questionnaire. In conclusion, it all comes down to what you’re looking for and whether this site can provide it. There are no video options, for example, and if you’re outside the US then you might not think the site as good value, or as useful.
