I have done online dating on many dating sites and had a lot of bad experiences with some bad guys. I had no real luck, so I gave up the online dating thing after the last guy I dated which was for 5 and 1/2 months turned out to be a real loser too. I told myself I wouldn't do it anymore and I stuck to it for a few months. I saw advertisements for Christian mingle all the time and was interested in trying since I am a very faithful person and I wanted to find someone descent, faithful, honest and so I signed up. I was weary about paying again for a dating site, but I figured I'd do it for a month. I got a few messages from different men, but no one stuck out to me. One day I got a message from an older gentleman, and I was still cautious about answering the e-mail, it took me a couple weeks to answer him back. I wasn't attracted to him at first but he had a lot of other qualities I was looking for. Beauty is only skin deep as they say, so I gave him a chance and wrote him back we corresponded for a week or so then I gave him my number and we started talking every night. He was really interested in me I could tell by how he took the time and listened and was honest with me from day one. A week later we met it was awkward at first, he looked a lot better in person and we truly enjoyed each other's company as much as we could considering we both happened to be sick at the time. I didn't know if I'd hear from him again after that date or if he'd call, he wasn't sure either. The next day he called me and every night since our first date, then we made another date for that Sunday which was much better than the first. I never met a man so hardworking, honest, caring and sincere in my whole life. I owe all that to Christian mingle, if I hadn't joined 2 yrs ago now, I wouldn't be with the best man a woman could ask for. We're even discussing marriage, he hasn't asked yet but my answer will definitely be YES!! As far as cancelling my membership I had no problems with that either, although my boyfriend did but he got his money back with no problem.
In summary, I would recommend Christian Mingle to a friend.
