Whenever a business decides to put itself before its customers, I feel an urge to share my story with others (in a hopefully calm, rational, and unbiased way). ChristianMingle recently gave me this urge. I actively used ChristianMingle from May 2015 to March 2016, which is when I met my current girlfriend (I met her on another website, not ChristianMingle). I had a good experience using it, but then I was charged for an auto-renewal of $113.94 in May 2016. I emailed them telling them my situation and that I had forgotten that I would be charged for an auto-renewal for an additional 6 months when my time was up. I have a lot of memberships - some auto-renew and some don't, so it's tough to keep track of. The overwhelming majority of businesses understand this and are understanding when I ask if I can get a refund from an auto-renew (I've probably had this happen about 5 other times - all the businesses were totally cool giving me a refund).

This site is loaded with more scam artists photos than actual customer photos. I caught 18 potential scammers and brought it to Christian Mingles attention as to how come somebody like me can spot them when you "supposedly" have a security team in place to prevent this from happening. They weren't even grateful, thankful or even offered me a refund when I cancelled my membership wayyyy early due to the overwhelming problems of the scam artists out there. They care about the wrong almighty!! They care only about the almighty dollar and have no Christian values themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if they put these people out there on purpose! Just saying........

In summary, I would not recommend Christian Mingle to a friend.

I joined ChristianSingles (Christian Mingle merge) in 2002. I paid for a lifetime membership of $39. I used the website for 3-4 months and found a relationship with another member and didn't login for the next 12+ years. I contacted management after unsuccessfully trying to login. They said I was no longer a lifetime member because I failed to login at least once every six months. I do not recall agreeing to this when they happily took my money. If the average lifespan is 72 years, then I think they owe me a nearly total refund or honor the "lifetime" access. It appears to me that this company "uses" the Christian community without the burden of Christian ethics. Beware the antichrist.

In summary, I would not recommend Christian Mingle to a friend.

All I can say is I wish I would have read the reviews before I wasted time and money on this site. Most of the men live across the country or in another state. Waste of $40.

I have been a member off and on for five years. I have been told by customer service representatives that the company does not embrace Christian values or a Christian worldview. That is certainly evident in their treatment of customers. In the time I was a member, I was treated with disdain and belligerence. I would strongly recommend that you not become involved with Christian Mingle. It is purely a secular company guided only by profit motive....

I came from Match.com. I realized that Match.com was a challenging venue for a Christian. There are wonderful Christians on there but the venue is not specific to that demographic. I understand that ChristianMingle.com is not a Christian organization but am thankful for this venue that provides a place for people that are serious about finding another a Christian to go.

I feel very bad for the family who's daughter had such a bad experience. There are victims and predators everywhere. I understand the need to blame someone but it does not make it right. The experience described could have happened anywhere, with any site or even through conventional dating channels. We all have to accept responsibility for the bad decisions we make. That may sound heartless but especially when dealing with online dating, people have to be careful.

In summary, I would recommend Christian Mingle to a friend.

Our youngest daughter met a "so-called" Christian on Christian Mingle and Hell as we know it began for our family. He managed to get into her mind, turn her against us, convince her to move 5 HOURS AWAY into another state, isolated her from us, convinced her to marry him and now we have NO CONTACT with her or him and our family was as close as any 4 family members can be. She is NOW COMPLETELY mentally, emotionally and spiritually sick and messed up mentally. We are praying for her to return to us so that we can get her the help she ADMITS she needs but doesn't have the strength to live that sinful lifestyle and him behind. All we can ask at this point is that ALL pray with us for her return and that her healing, as well as ours, can begin and she can return to her Heavenly Father. Thank all of you in advance for ALL your prayers for her and our family as we wait patiently.....or at least try to........on the Lord to return us to Him and us.

Very interesting! Found my girlfriend of a year now on Christian Mingle. Worked out great! However, we were talking last night about how she can't get into AOL email, has been getting lot's of 'junk' even from Christian Mingle. I went on to fix the issue. An email dated a month ago basically stated "welcome, our review team read your profile and you're good to go!" As you can imagine, my heart started racing! Did some more digging and was certain she had created this profile, hence me ending our relationship! Long story short, she says she did not create it! However, she opened a few "smiles" up out of curiosity. She swears she did not create a profile although it definitely described her. I contacted CM and they feel it was a hacker. One indication was it had her age right, but not date of birth. Because I logged in, it changed the IP address so I was unable to find out where the account was created. Beware of this site. they auto renew charging your credit card without your authorization, not even an e-mail to warn you that your membership is about to expire. And they call their site Christian? They do not act like Christian at all... highway robbery. Sometimes you cannot even get to their site because their reason is they upgraded/updated their site whatever! If you want to keep your money do not join this site. Their ad says "opportunity" yes, opportunity for them to make money out of you. You block someone on the site and they keep popping up. DO NOT USE THIS.

I subscribed so I could contact others and give contact info to unsubscribers so they could contact me and I would put my phone number in the subject line of the msg so they could see it as an unsubscriber and christianmingle.com permanently deleted my account for breaking contract rules. They robbed me of $40 and refuse to refund me. Useless site and I highly discourage any christian or any person from using this site. They are all about the $. These people are not true Christians they are a disgrace to God and everyone else
