I have used eHarmony and will use them exclusively in the future. Christian Mingle is a huge waste of time. You have to sift through many messages from people who do not fit your specifications. I have gotten way too many emails from men that are my Dad's age and that is so disgusting to me. If these men don't have the understanding that someone well under 20 years their junior is not interested in them, then Christian Mingle should have the decency to not allow your profile to be seen by people that are out of your age requirements.

In summary, I would not recommend Christian Mingle to a friend.

I was a little sceptical to join at first, but decided to just give it a go. I am so happy that I gave it a try! In my 3rd month of being a member, I met by wonderful husband, Chris. Thank you Christian Mingle!!!

I had a three month subscription with option to renew , I liked their sight at first, Christian atmosphere and Daily Bible verse ,the Photos were not as clear , after second month my account was Hacked into.I could not log on . Technicial support said it was from a subscriber posting not a picture stateing click on my picture for photo . There are several accounts floating around with this no photo posted , I think the management should require all subscribers post photos . also I think they have a record of how , I was not warned I took the sight to be safer , and lost all my Information ,dont Know were it went .?I felt that christian Mingle should have safer sight ,and they gave me little insentive to continue using their sight . I wasted alot time and Money , be careful on this sight, I realize there is always risk !

Overall, the website seems to have good ease of navigation, is easy to join and upload information and would seems a good value for the money. However, the technical and management support when there is a problem seems to be awful.
Just 4 days after joining Christian Mingle, I received an email on their website email that contained a viral hyperlink. I should have known better than to click on the link, but I figured it was supposed to be a Christian website, so it must be safe, since the email was part of their system.

The email hyperlink was a malware bot that took over my Christian Mingle account and began sending out a huge number of malware emails from my CM account to other members. The text of the emails was not of my writing. They appeared to part of one of the Russian scams. I contacted Christian Mingle, who would do nothing to correct the situation. They would not upgrade their antivirus to correct the situation, nor would they refund my account payment in any manner. Christian Mingle seems to not support interracial couples / marriage, as mostly every inspirational love story they have promoted on their site that I've seen so far are with only same raced couples and the women are size 1 and very blonde. I feel if a site is trying to cater to many different people nationwide, it would do more to reach out to everyone.

When making your profile there is not an option asking details of what you would like your potential mate's race to be- whatever race you say you are, those are the only matches you will see. It's okay for some, but what about other's who embrace the ideal interracial union? There should not be a limit or block to that
especially on a Christian site seemingly promoting Jesus Christ - love, peace and unity.

I do very much like the attachment site believe.com and the Christian articles / bible study - besides that - CM would not be Christian like at all. Not many authentic Christian profiles to choose from especially in your local radius and after you browse the site their pricing format seems not worth it - they should give more trial usage to... No easy way to contact customer service. The contact number is 866-660-7924. Hope this helps. No refunds within the three day period because they won't make cancellations easy. They want your money upfront without knowing you're satisfied. The customer satisfaction policy ain't worth a lot.

WARNING/ LET THE BUYER BEWARE:

Watch out if you should EVER need customer support in any way--whether you have technical issues/ account issues/ etc. Their customer support is nonexistent.

Case in point:
I lost my account password after a brief hiatus. I used the password reset form and the resulting email verification, then attempted to log in to the site with my new password. It then proceeded to inform me that my newly reset password was invalid. I repeated this multiple times with the same result.

Their password reset has 2 possible problems:
a) it's not working and the password does not actually reset
b) their database does not sync with the website

Their FAQs have a section recommending that you write to them with your name, location, and email if you should encounter this issue, and I then wrote to them detailing exactly that. I received a reply that I would frankly be embarrassed to send out to customers if I were on their end:

"Unfortunately, I am not seeing a cause for the problem you are having. Your best option is to restore your browsers default settings and to contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider.)"

I cannot be part of a dating site that says it is Christian and allows members to be "separated". That is not God's law - when I questioned - I was told by the person at the end of the 800 number that christian means different stuff to different people. Christian is Christian - there is no in-between!

This website is a big scam. They will let you log on first and see some pictures of possible dates. Then they will block your access after you pay. When you contact customer service they will send you an email stating that your account has been marked as fraud and that they will refund your money.. Never seen refund. BIG SCAM... To know that they are using the Christian name as a front is really bad...

I was using my account for a couple of weeks, thinking about subscribing...When I suddenly couldn't log in anymore. The system let me change my password, and I still got emails from them through the email address I provided. The error when logging in said "Invalid Password." So it is obviously a problem with their system. (And after reading other reviews, this seems to happen to Christian mingle customers often.) So NO ACCESS to my account. I emailed customer service, and it took about 4 days on average for an irrelevant response from them. I tried to explain in the email over and over, tried using the change password function over and over. No luck. After exchanging 12 or so emails, customer service said, "Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you," and never addressed the problem at all. I gave up.

I'm very glad I hadn't already subscribed, and I never will. Please BEWARE if you're considering using Christian Mingle.
