I started contacting Christian Mingle "matchmaking" which was a pretty new service. I signed contract 6/9/25 within 24 hrs, putting good faith into the service as it clearly advertises serving Christian singles. From the intake person Michael to my current matchmaker Anya, there's totally no connection nor understanding about the importance of attribute in potential matches which reflect any "ounce" of interest nor knowledge in Protestant Christians. They were more like a mix of sales and support staff in their at and capacity. Pushing through the sale successfully is the first goal; then convincing you to accept profiles showing that they DID try, while totally missing the most important element or reason why I have to seek matchmaking! What they can offer, I can find myself also. Anya just gave me one such profile, who adamantly said not interested in seeking Christian faith. I am living in the Bay Area, CA. Very much surprised that they cannot find ANY Asian single who is a real nor interested in being Christian. I know Christian Mingle's matchmaking is through a separate non-religious agency. Yet, they REALLY need to: 1) take themselves off the Christian Mingle market as they don't seem to have ethnic diversity; 2) not take my case at this time when they do not have a pool and totally unknown if they will have anyone any soon; and 3) aggressively market for Asians and other ethnicities that usually have large Christian pool in the Bay Area. While they don't have a pool in their reserve, pushing me into paying 100% during the initial "sales call" by Michael; then repeatedly asked me to expand my criteria by Anya, meaning lax up my Christian requiremen, into pretty much anyone whom they can define meeting criteria (e.g. very opened, very spiritual, showed respect, showed acceptance......etc... lol!) . It is hard-earn money for people to one deal paid $7500, or $9000 to throw into the trash for people pay in installments if you don't have any clue whether you can find such pool someone asks for!
In summary, I would not recommend Christian Mingle to a friend.
